Introduction

If you really want to know what time it is, this is a good place to start - a Tempus LX NTP stratum-one timeserver. Accurate to one ten-millionth of a second, can serve 200,000 computers at once, runs about $7,000.

For the rest of the world

Head over to [time.gov] in your web browser, or consider any number of radio-set watches. Less accurate, but under a second and less than $50 these days.

Status and plans

  • Got the timeserver
  • Right now, I have to do visual comparisons. Maybe OCR?
